Meet Amber
Amber Craig is a results-driven insurance professional and President of Craig & Peterson Insurance Group. Known for her client-focused approach and commitment to excellence, she has built a reputation for delivering tailored insurance solutions while cultivating long-term relationships across the communities she serves.
Originally from Albany, Georgia, Amber was raised in a military family, an experience that instilled resilience, discipline, and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. She later settled in Beaufort, South Carolina, where she graduated from Beaufort High School before continuing her education in North Carolina. Amber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Saint Augustine’s University, where she also began her career in the insurance industry.
Starting at the front desk of a local agency, Amber quickly distinguished herself through performance and dedication. She advanced to a licensed agent, became a top-producing sales professional, and later stepped into leadership as an office manager. Her drive and vision ultimately led her to entrepreneurship.
As Principal Agent, Amber launched Craig Insurance Group in partnership with Nationwide Insurance, laying the foundation for what is now Craig & Peterson Insurance Group. Through strategic growth and a commitment to exceptional service, she has expanded the agency’s presence across multiple markets, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, and Virginia.
Amber further strengthened her agency’s capabilities through a strategic partnership with High Street Insurance Partners, enabling her to deliver more comprehensive and customized solutions while maintaining a personalized client experience.
Today, Amber is recognized not only for her professional accomplishments, but also for her dedication to community impact and mentorship. She is passionate about empowering clients to make informed decisions, supporting her local communities, and developing the next generation of insurance professionals.
